Whether you have never surfed or are an expert, in Bocas del Toro you will find a good board for rent.
I recommend you renting your board in advance, especially if you travel between December and March.
#4 – Escuela del mar
Escuela del mar is located on Isla Colón and has two branches.
Important for surfers that not only provides surf lessons but also the service of sale, rental and repair of boards, to anyone who wants or needs it.
You will find a wide variety of boards for rent (Al Merrick, JS, Hayden Shapes, NSP, among others), surf accessories and even GoPro.
The cost of renting the boards varies between $10 to $25 depending on each model.
There are high-quality boards that require more care, therefore their value is higher. And there are those of economic prices that have a certain time of use.
#3 – La Buga Dive & Surf
It is a 5-star Padi school and center that offers surf lessons and also board rental.
The rental price per board would be $20.
They also have specific SUP (Stand Up Paddleboarding) boards.
Their prices vary depending on the number of hours to use.
- 1 hour – $15 (2 boards for $25)
- 2 hours – $30 (2 boards for $50)
- half day – $40 (2 tables for $70)
- Full day – $60 (2 tables for $100)
#2 – Mono Loco Surf School
It is one of the best surf schools in Bocas, they offer high quality boards for rent.
They have two categories, including the Top Shelf, which are boards from the best brands that provide excellent quality such as: Pyzel, DHD, Hayden Shapes, Superbrand among others, and the regular shelf.
The prices of the Top Shelf would be:
